Over 2,000 benefit from integrated camp

Over 2,000 people have benefited from the integrated mobile camp offering various government services in Simta Rural Municipality, Surkhet.

A total of 386 persons acquired citizenship, 415 persons got voter identity card and 23 received senior citizen card at the integrated camp, said chair of the rural municipality Kabindra KC. Likewise, 390 availed of livestock services, 435 agricultural services and 571 health services. The two-day camp, which began on Thursday, was held jointly by the rural municipality and District Administration Office, Surkhet.

District Administration Office, District Election Office, District Police Office, Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, Mehalkuna Hospital, livestock and agriculture offices offered their services at the camp.

A public hearing was also conducted with a focus on development activities in the local level.
