Over Rs 340 million revenue collected from Tanahun

DAMAULI: More than Rs 340 million revenue has been collected in three and half months of the current fiscal year in Tanahun district.

According to District Treasury Controller Office (DTCO), Tanahun, Rs 340,172,502 have been collected from mid-July to end of October in the district.

The revenue has been collected from more than three dozens of government offices and organisations, informed Bisnu Hari Wagle, Chief Treasury Controller Officer while adding that Rs 160 million, the highest amount, was collected from Internal Revenue Office.

Similary, Rs 70,090,000 from Land Revenue Office, Rs 30,090,000 from Transport Management Office, and Rs 9,125,191 was collected from District Administration Office, Wagle further added.

In comparison to the same period of the previous fiscal, this year revenue has significantly increased, claimed DTCO.
