PABSON to open shut schools today

Rupandehi, May 4 :

A special meeting of the Rupandehi chapter of the Public and Boarding School Organisation of Nepal (PABSON) held here today decided to launch protest programmes if student organisations do not unlock the schools soon.

The student bodies had yesterday padlocked private schools as a mark of protest against the hike in fees. It was also decided in the meeting that studies would resume from tomorrow.

The private schools had hiked the fees by 20 per cent effective this academic session.

Chairman of PABSON, Rupandehi, Lok Nath Upadhyay, said a committee was formed in the meeting to initiate dialogue with the student bodies.
