Paddy production up in Ramechhap
RAMECHHAP: Paddy production has gone up by 10 per cent this year in Ramechhap. According to Agriculture Knowledge Centre Ramechhap, paddy production has increased this year due to conducive weather.
“Availability of chemical fertiliser and use of improved seeds have caused paddy production to go up this year,” said centre’s chief Rajendra Malla. Paddy was planted in 10,408 hectares of land this year.
The district has 3,109 hectares of land with year-round irrigation facility.
