KATHMANDU: Of the five persons injured in a jeep accident at Badigyan Tole in Palpa district, one more has died in the course of treatment at a hospital this morning. Another injured, a nine-month baby, Nisan Basyal, of Nayarnamtales in Bagnaskali Rural Municipality-3, died the day before.

Kamal Pandey (48) of Bartunki in Tansen Municipality-6 breathed her last at 4:00 am during the course of treatment at United Mission Hospital in Tansen, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Binod Ghimire at Palpa District Police Office told Rastriya Samachar Samiti. Pandey was injured after being hit by a jeep at Badigyantole, in the district yesterday, said DSP Ghimire.

The jeep (Ga 1 Cha 6748) heading towards Aandolanchok from Hulakchok of Tansen had hit pedestrians injuring five persons in brake failure on Sunday.

Until now, two injured have died, police said.
