Pandey lauds King’s address

Kathmandu, February 5:

Foreign Minister Ramesh Nath Pandey has said that Nepal’s well wishers and friends in the international community who are really interested to see a peaceful, stable democratic and prosperous Nepal would surely understand the sagacity and flexibility shown by the King at this critical juncture of history.

The Foreign Minister was addressing the representatives of the Kathmandu-based foreign media at a dinner hosted for them at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sheetal Niwas today.

Referring to the King’s address to the nation on February 1, 2006, hesaid the address has outlined a roadmap to rid the country of the current difficulties, and requested the foreign media representatives to carefully read the Royal Proclamation, adding the King has reiterated his call in clear terms.
