PHALEBAS: Nepali Migrant workers in Qatar have provided financial assistance to a girl with kidney failure.

Youths of Parbat, who are currently in Doha, Qatar for overseas employment, have provided financial assistance of Rs 30,000 to Anita Sharma (14) of Ramjathanti VDC-3 in Parbat district.

At a programme organised at Kushma on Monday, Parbat Chairman of CPN -UML Padam Giri handed over the collected amount to Sharma’s father Dilliram Sharma.

Sharma, who is seventh grader at a local Saraswoti Lower Secondary School, has been suffering from kidney disease for the past four years. She has been receiving treatment at different hospital in Kathmandu now.

Father of the ailing girl urged all to provide necessary support for her daughter's treatment as their financial condition is poor.

The financial assistance was collected at the initiative of Chairman of Parbat Liaison Forum, Doha.
