KATHMANDU: The Industry, Commerce and Consumer Relation Committee under the Legislature- Parliament today urged the government to formulate and amend the laws related to market monitoring.

The meeting of a sub-committee under the committee today has directed the Commerce Ministry in this connection.

The sub-Committee coordinator Lila Devi Shrestha shared that the meeting directed the Ministry for the same as there were difficulties in monitoring the markets.

She further said the bill on this would be tabled by mid-April.
