RASUWA: The Pasang Lhamu Highway remained blocked after a container transporting apple towards Kathmandu from Kerung turned turtle last night.

Transportation came to a grinding halt after the container (Na 6 Kha 3028) turned turtle due to overload at 10 pm, the District Police Office, Rasuwa said.

Hundreds of passenger buses among other vehicles en route to Kathmandu from Dhunche and from Kathmandu to Kerung have been stranded while ambulance service remained disrupted on the Highway.

A crane has been dispatched from Kathmandu and the road is expected to be cleared by the evening, District Police Chief, Awadesh Bista said.
