Patel rushed to Delhi

RAUTAHAT: Lalbabu Patel of Rautahat, who was injured in a police firing, was rushed to New Delhi for further treatment on Friday. He was receiving treatment in Birgunj. A resident of Gaur municipality-6, Patel was seriously injured in police firing on September 13. He was sent to Delhi with support from United Democratic Madhesi Front and local businessmen of Birgunj. Mairuddhin Osta of Akolawa, who also sustained injuries during the demonstration against the local administration’s decision to declare Gaur a riot-hit area, had breathed his last on Sunday. “Patel will receive treatment either in AIIMS or Medanta Hospital in New Delhi of India,” said National Muslim Struggle Alliance coordinator Haji Jikurulla.
