People will make NC victorious: NC President Deuba

DHANGADHI: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appealed to all to cast their votes without any fear, as security has been tightened across the country.

In a press meet organised by Nepal Press Union here on Thursday, Deuba urged the general public to cast votes confidently adding that the people had the right to change and form the government.

He said that the people of the far west would cast votes in favour of the NC candidates as they supported a development-oriented party that is NC.

On different note, President Deuba said that the people were getting fearful over the left alliance as it could impose totalitarianism in the country. PM Deuba further shared that an agreement was forged to forward Pancheshwar multipurpose project during his visit to the southern neighbour.

Similarly, progress was going on to upgrade the Gauriphanta-Indo-Nepal border point, construction of West Seti hydel project and construction of Taklakot-Sino-Nepal border point, Deuba argued.

On separate note, Deuba claimed that only he could become a prime minister from far west, if he were elected in the election. Opposing remarks made by opposition parties that he was the last Prime Minister from NC, Deuba said as per his astrologer, he could become Prime Minister for seven times i.e. for two more time. President Deuba urged the cadres to be united for the victory of the party.

He further claimed that the NC will get a majority in the upcoming elections.
