PHIDIM: Limbuwan State Council-Revolutionary (LSC-R) on Wednesday closed Phidim bazaar in Panchthar district demanding unconditional release of 21 of its cadres who were held for vandalism and robbery.

The roads to Ilam, Taplejung and Jhapa bore a deserted look as no vehicle plied on them. A statement issued by Hom Yaba, district coordinator, LSC-R, said the closure of the highways, educational institutions, businesses and factories was indefinite.
