Nawalparasi, October 9:

The Maoist Peoples’ Liberation Army personnel from the Pariwartan Brigade in the Forth Division captured journalists, human right activities and a team of Nepal Police for one-and-a-half-hour today.

They were captured because they allegedly trespassed the PLA territory.

PLA personnel seized human right activists, journalists and a team of police led by Sub-Inspector at Kawasoti Area Police Office Dinanath Poudel who went to distribute relief material provided by Human Rights and Communication Foundation Nepal (HRCFN) and Motherland Nepal at Hattikhor of Shivamandir VDC-8 today. PLA soldiers warned them against entering their territory in future.
