PM employment scheme only to 'feed' NCP (NCP) cadres: leader Poudel

TANAHUN: Main opposition Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel remarked that the employment scheme recently launched by the government was meant to only benefit the ruling party’s cadres, not all youths.

Speaking at the inauguration of a cadre training programme, leader Poudel said, “Government has initiated employment scheme without adequate preparations and financial resources. The scheme will not yield positive results.”

Moreover, the opposition leader said that even the general public knows that PM Oli has passed assurances on curbing corruption with no intention of working to that end.

Likewise, NC Joint General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat accused the government of disseminating misleading slogans on prosperity and development.

"This government cannot deliver prosperity and has only misled public with fake information,” Mahat said, “As of now, investment has plummeted while interest rates and inflations have skyrocketed.”
