POKHARA: Heavy security preparations in and around Pokhara University for Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's visit were in vain as UCPN-Maoist cadres succeeded in a blag flag reception in its premises Lekhnath Municipality, Kaski on Saturday.

He is in Pokhara to attend the Convocation Day of Pokhara University to hand out certificates to the toppers of various faculties and subjects in the presence of a large number of students.

He returns to Kathmandu in the evening.
