POKHARA: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of Pokhara International Airport at Chhinedanda of Lekhanath Municipality, Kaski district.

China had pledged to provide financial assistance for the development of the airport.

Saying that one and all should take part in the development works, PM Oli urged senior leaders of the major political parties

to work actively for the development of the country brick by brick.

UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Thapa, Deputy Prime Minister and Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Democratic Chairman Bajay Kumar Gachhadar, Deputy Prime Minister and Rastrya Prajatantra Party-Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa and Nepal Congress General Secretary Shashanka Koirala were present on the occasion.
