PM's Office starts monitoring bigger projects

KATHMANDU: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has begun monitoring larger-scale development projects.

The OPMCM spokesperson Binod Bahadur Kunwar shared that PM KP Sharma Oli started monitoring the bigger projects.

He added that PM Oli started the mission after monitoring the regional international airport project in Pokhara.

Kunwar added that the bid of monitoring began as per scheduled monitoring programme of ministry-wise action plan submitted to the Prime Minister for fiscal year 2075/76 BS.

The office has also directed the concerned sides to manage garbage, randomly deposited along the streets in Kathmandu valley.

Similarly, the office has directed the authorities concerned to repair deteriorated road sections, to control black marketing and price hike among others.

According to the spokesperson, Kunwar, the ministries have been directed to submit their progress report to the OPMCM within 15 days.
