PM’s departure affects flights at TIA

KATHMANDU: Hundreds of passengers were affected on Thursday at the Tribhuvan International Airport due to the delay caused in regular scheduled flights as Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left for Vietnam and Cambodia.

During Oli’s departure to the Southeast nation, a few international flights were kept on hold while a number of domestic flights were compelled to reshuffle their flight schedules.

Among others, passengers who had already boarded the aircraft of Saurya Airlines bound for Kathmandu from Bhairahawa were forced to disembark after flight was postponed for almost four hours.
