PHALEBAS: Vehicular movement along the Pokhara-Baglung road section from Girichok to Nayapul has been closed for six hours daily effective from last Saturday to expedite the road expansion project.

The concerned authority has urged commuters and vehicles plying along the highway to reschedule their time-table accordingly. Apex Construction Company Pvt Ltd is carrying out the construction project.

The road section is closed from 7:00 to 8:30 and 9:30 to 10:30 in the mornings. Similarly, the vehicle movement is again stopped from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm and then from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The company site in-charge Kashiraj Bohara shared that the schedule could be changed after analysing the traffic pressure and the nature of construction works.

The project is being carried out with a total investment of Rs 3.32 billion.
