KATHMANDU: Police said on Friday that they have arrested a man from Kanchanpur district on charge of raping a 4-year-old girl.

The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Tike Nepali of Belauri Municipality in Kanchanpur.

Police said Nepali was arrested on Thursday over the charge of raping the minor.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
