Kapilvastu, June 11 :

The Area police office, Gorusinge, on Sunday arrested two persons involved in looting night buses and trucks. Kedar Devkota and Suraj Rana were arrested from Gorusinge, police said. During interrogation, the duo confessed that they had looted Rs 200 each from two night buses headed for Kathmandu from Kothiyaghat and Dhangadhi.

However, the conductors of the buses did not inform the police about the incident, the police said. The looters were nabbed following a tip-off.

Devkota is a soldier in the Nepal Army, while Rana is a bus conductor, the police said.

Devkota is being held in the army battalion, while Rana is being lodged in the area police office.
