Police on alert in Banke
Nepalgunj, April 1:
Security officials said the Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and temporary police personnel will be mobilised for the security of voters and employees on duty in the polling centres round the clock.
According to superintendent of police Ghanashyam Bhatta, various mobile patrol teams have been deployed to make effective security arrangement for the April 10 constituent
The arrangement has been made in such a way that the police will reach the incident site in 15 minutes upon receiving the information, Bhatta added.
“As the communication mechanism is ready, security personnel will know about the incident immediately after it occurs,” SP Bhatta said.
Chief district officer Narendra Raj Sharma said that a helicopter will be kept stand-by in Banke.
