UDAYAPUR: An unidentified gang attacked an Armed Police Force personnel and cut off his tongue in Triyuga Municipality of Udaypur on Thursday night. A gang of five youths attacked APF personnel Triloh Puri, a resident of Nepalgunj, and cut off his tongue, said Inspector Mahendra Thapa at Udaypur district police office. Puri who was posted in Siraha had come here to visit his god mother. He was attacked at Kalikhola area of the town. He has been sent to Dharan for treatment, the police said. Meanwhile, 15-year-old Bijay Magar of Ratmate was stabbed to death in house today. Magar had been attacked while he was cooking in his house. His mother had left to buy some notebooks for her son when the incident had taken place. She said that she had found his son lying in a pool of blood while she had returned from the market after half an hour. The murderer and the motive behind the murder are yet to be ascertained, the police said.
