DANG: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the political parties at present need to forge consensus for the implementation of constitution.

He further said political parties need to show the same unity as they showed while promulgating the constitution for its effective implementation.

Inaugurating a trade fair here Thursday, NC President Deuba said the local level elections could be announced after resolving the disputes.

"There is no option for the political parties but to be united for implementation of constitution and holding elections within the stipulated dates," he underscored.

On a different note, he said country's development was impossible without investment.
