Postponement of FSU polls protested

Nepalgunj, February 24:

The student unions today locked the office of the campus chief of the Mahendra Multiple campus to protest against his failure to hold the Free Students Union elections.

Since the documents related with the FUS elections mysteriously went missing on the day of registration of candidates and the campus chief himself disappeared, the FSU election is withheld. The student unions are warning the campus administration to hold the elections on time but it is sure that this is not possible because today, Saturday and Sunday are government holidays and the campus will remain closed.

Meanwhile, the ANNFSU issuing a press release has given an ultimatum to hold the election at the earliest by dissolving the present election commission and forming a new one.
