Chairman of the splinter faction of the Nepal Sadbhawana Party (Anandidevi) Rajendra Mahato today said that fully proportional electoral system is the best way for CA election, and his party would boycott the elections if any other electoral system was adopted for the polls.

Speaking at a press meet in Parasi, Mahato said Madhesi people have made a big contribution to the country’s development.

“It’s only through the establishment of a republican state that the Madhesi people will feel liberated,” Mahato said. He also warned of third Jana Andolan if the government didn’t fix new date for CA election immediately.

“We can do anything for the construction and protection of our country,” he said. He also said that the formation of Madhes Rakshyabahini, to be used as a special task force, has already been completed in 18 Tarai districts.
