Prachanda high on new Nepal rhetoric

Kathmandu, December 26:

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said today that the leaders of the neighbouring country were worried of the revolutionary model developed in Nepal but their illusion might vanish without seeing any such outputs. PM Prachanda, however, expressed rhetoric of not betraying people like other parties, saying that they were ready to sacrifice every thing for the welfare of people.

Addressing a two-day national gathering of the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R), PM said, “The students should caution the political parties to work in accordance with the mandate of general public.”

“Although republic has been established in the country, it is yet to establish an institutionalised

republic, which can address the aspirations of general people” he said. “The country is heading towards the revolutionary change and drafting of new constitution is on the process with opportunities and challenges.”

He warned that there could occur an political accident in the country if a campaign to raise awareness on people from Mechi to Mahakali failed. Prachanda said they would write the constitution as per the mandate of the people but not as recommended by the experts as it cannot be applicable in the society. He asked the ANNISU-R to develop confidence for getting victory in the student union polls and assured that ANNISU-R would win the union election.

Lekhnath Neupane, president of ANNISU-R, said that they would fight for social, political, economical and cultural rights of the people and claimed that ANNISU-R would get the victory in the election being held in the campuses as they were developing strategies to win the election.
