KATHMANDU: Unified CPN-Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' today visited Mao's birthplace in China's Hunan province. Prachanda's team met Zhang Chunxian, secretary, Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the director general, Hunan Provincial People's Congress.

According to Prakash Dahal, secretary Zhang expressed willingness to contribute to Nepal's development. Prachanda made an emotional note that he was happy to visit the place of the leader whose ideology his party had adopted. He promised to visit the place in the future too. He will return to Beijing tomorrow.
