LAMJUNG: The prasad (offering) of Lamjung Kalika Temple in Gaon Sahar of the district has been sent to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav via postal service. The District Land Reform Office sent the prasad to President Dr Yadav for the fist time. Earlier the prasad of the Lamjung Kalika goddess used to be sent to the kings in Dashain and Chaite Dashain. The prasad has also been sent to senior government officials. Meanwhile, the practice of performing special worship in the temple in the name of king has been discontinued from this year.
