KAWASOTI: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said Nepal has got one of the best constitutions in the world.

Inaugurating the golden jubilee celebrations of Pragatinagar-based Janajyoti Namuna Secondary School on Saturday, the President hailed the recently promulgated Constitution as the most progressive and best.

On the occasion, the President stressed on quality education and increasing government investment in the education sector. She said the education system should have scientific and vocational approach as it was crucial in producing skilled human resources necessary for the development of the country.

The President spent some 45 minutes in the school and unveiled a golden jubilee memorial pillar constructed on the school premises.

Minister Without Portfolio Shanta Manawi was also present on the occasion.
