BHOJPUR: Landline telephone service has started in Ghoretar of Ranibas VDC in Bhojpur. Information and Communications Minister Sher Dhan Rai inaugurated the service on Wednesday.

Rai telephoned President Bidhya Devi Bhandari from the same landline.

Telephone service, was limited to district headquarters and Dingla Bazaar earlier, now it has been extended to Ghoretar.

Meanwhile, assistant chief Nirajan Subedi at Telecom Office, Bhojpur, said the extended telephone has a capacity of 98 lines and 63 lines have been extended.

He informed that ADSL service would start soon.
