Prices of goods fixed
KHOTANG: District Administration Office, Khotang has directed local traders and shopkeepers to put up price list of daily essentials in their shops after it received complaints regarding unnatural price hike of daily commodities.
Meanwhile, Commerce Association Khotang has fixed the prices of daily commodities Sona rice at Rs 60 and Jeera Basmati at Rs 90 per kg each, sugar at Rs 80 per kg, mustard oil at Rs 160 per litre, iodised salt at Rs 30, noodles at Rs 20 and pulse at Rs 200 per kg, among others.
“If any trader is found avoiding the directive, legal action will be taken against them,” said Rajendra Layalu, association chairman.
