Prime Minister Employment Programme starts in Bhojpur

BHOJPUR: Services have begun under the Prime Minister Employment Programme launched by the Nepal Government, in Salpasilichho Rural Municipality of Bhojpur district.

According to Mahesh Rai, chair of Salpasilichho Rural Municipality, the locals who have remained unemployed for more than 100 days have been selected for employment the sectors of agriculture, road, environment, forests, among others.

In the first phase of the programme, as many as 10 women and 30 men of wards 2 and 3 of the rural municipality received employment opportunities. The rural municipality informed that the beneficiaries of the programme are involved in cleaning and maintenance of the surrounding.

Chair Rai shared that the beneficiaries will receive the job for 25 days and will be granted daily remuneration of Rs 517.
