Property looted in Siraha

A group of dacoits looted valuable goods worth millions at Kalyanpur Municipality in Siraha today.

A group of 11 to 12 looted a house belonging to Ram Dev Mandal at the municipality early this morning. The dacoits entered the house using a ladder.

Police said the gang pointed a pistol at Mandal and took the family members under control and looted the valuables.

They fled with one lakh cash, 18 tola gold and silver jewellery, among other goods. The victims informed police after the dacoits left the house.
