KHOTANG: Property worth around Rs 1.1 million was destroyed in a fire in Laphyang VDC of Diktel Municipality-1, Khotang district on Wednesday.

According to police, the fire started from the kitchen of one Tularam Biswokarma's three-storey house at around 11 pm yesterday.

The blaze gutted the property as the fire brigade did not reach the incident site on time, police informed.
