BHOJPUR: Property worth around Rs 470,000 was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a house in Dumraha VDC of Sunsari district on Saturday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the fire that broke out due to electric short circuit destroyed the house of Jeet Bahadur Karki in Dumraha-5.

The fire was later taken under control with the help of a police team deployed from the Dumraha Police Post and locals.
