DHANGADHI: A Cabinet meeting of Province 7 held on Monday has approved the policies and programmes for the fiscal 2018/19.

According to the Internal Affairs and Law Minister and Spokesperson of the Province Prakash Bahadur Shakya, the Chief Minister will present the policies and programmes in provincial assembly on April 11, 2018.

Likewise, the Cabinet has also agreed in principle to evaluate a bill relating to the process of certifying public document. The work procedure which was implemented through guidelines will now be an Act of the Province 7 Law.

Similarly, the Cabinet has decided to collect statistics of victims affected by natural disasters such as drought, hail-storm among others through Chief District Officers and provide maximum assistance possible.

Moreover, the meeting has forged a consensus on requesting the central government to allow District Technical Office to operate till the end of current fiscal year. According to the Cabinet, if DTO remains jettisoned, the provincial government will face hassles while implementing its programmes.
