PHIDIM: Panchthar Police filed a case against a driver for driving under the influence at the district court in Panchthar on Monday.

Police have filed the case against driver Milan Tamang of Chuhandanda, Tehrathum after he was found driving under the influence.

A police team deployed from the District Police Office, Panchthar had arrested Tamang on Friday while he was driving under the influence of alcohol from Bharapa area of the district.

Inspector Bijaya Shrestha of DPO said a public offence case has been filed against the driver.
