Dahal assures to address demands of dissenting parties
KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Thursday has assured that the new government would address demands of the dissenting Madhesh-centric political parties, Tharus and indigenous groups.
Addressing the national assembly of the All Nepal National Free Students Union-Revolutionary in the Capital, Dahal, who is expected to the Prime Minister next week, reiterated that key responsibility of the new government would be ironing out the differences with these disgruntled parties.
Dahal, also former Prime Minister, expressed that the new government would take those parties and groups protesting the new Constitution into confidence.
Likewise, the new government would expedite the post-quake reconstruction drive and carry on the initiatives and programmes undertaken by the previous governments, he added.
Furthermore, the CPN MC Chairman expressed the need for a new communist party to create a new wave for the world communist campaign.
