Chitwan, December 20
Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal said healthy discussions were being held in the party’s standing committee meeting.
At a programme in Parasnagar of Bharatpur metropolis today, Dahal dismissed media reports about bitter differences in the meeting. “All members of the committee have put forth their views clearly, the party will soon come to the public with a novel campaign on the basis of the conclusions drawn from the ongoing discussions,” he assured.
He further revealed the standing committee was thinking of unveiling a prosperity campaign.
While inaugurating the golden jubilee celebration of Martyrs Memorial Secondary School at Parasnagar, Dahal said prosperity could not be achieved with the ordinary style and process, so a special campaign had become imperative. “The communist government is committed to change the face of the country. What we need is everyone’s cooperation,” he said.
Dahal observed while public schools were gradually improving their performance in recent days, the government was doing all it could to enhance the quality of education in community schools.
