PYUTHAN: District Public Health Office Pyuthan is watchful to control the diarrhoeal epidemic which has killed hundreds of people in neighbouring Jajarkot and Salyan districts. No diarrhoeal deaths have been reported here.

“All the health personnel in the district are on high alert,” said Dr Hari Bahadur KC. The DPHO has also asked health centres in the villages to act immediately in case the disease breaks out.
