Paudel accuses PM of ignoring Nepali Congress advices

BANEPA: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel accused Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of ignoring the largest coalition partner Nepali Congress in running the government.

Addressing a function organised by NC Banepa Municipal Committee here today, the veteran leader said Dahal was trying to run the government as an autocrat.

"There should have been a code of conduct and a programme for running the government," he said, "But, the leadership did not pay any attention to it."

Meanwhile, Paudel also expressed his dissatisfaction over the leadership of own party.

Paudel, who was defeated by the incumbent President Sher Bahadur Deuba in the party poll some months ago, said Deuba could not run the party effectively.

"The party leadership needs vision," he argued, "But, it was not seen in the Nepali Congress leadership."

Paudel also expressed his dissatisfaction over the works of Local Body Restructuring Commission.

Party Treasurer, also the Minister for Peace and Reconstruction, Sita Devi Yadav, Central Working Committee member NP Saud and other local leaders had also spoken at the function.
