Ram Chandra Paudel urged to solve political instability

KATHMANDU: A team of Human Rights and Peace Society Nepal met with Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel in Kathmandu, on Saturday.

In the meeting, the HURPES Nepal drew NC leader's attention towards a 10-point agreement put forward by the team.

They also urged Paudel to help maintain a favourable environment, both politically and socially, in order to increase public interaction and solve political instability seen in the country.

HURPES Nepal also urged the NC leader to pass the impeachment motion filed against the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Chief Lok Man Singh Karki and dismiss him from his post.

No one found guilty of working against the human rights should be appointed to a constitutional post, HURPES added.

Similarly, they also met with the CPN-ML General Secretary and former Prime Minister CP Mainali to discuss the 10-point agreement.
