Paudel pledges jobs in villages

DAMAULI: Senior Nepali Congress leader Ramchandra Paudel, who is also the party’s candidate for the parliamentary election from Tanahun Constituency No 1, on Wednesday said his candidacy was for creating employment opportunities in villages.

Speaking at an election publicity gathering organised at Tuhurepashal of Bhanu Municipality, Ward 11 of the district, Paudel said, “I am contesting the upcoming parliamentary poll to work in the interest of the people and the country.”

He further stated that as he was too occupied with national political affairs, he could not give much time to development of the district in the past.

The senior NC leader also accused communist leaders and cadres of making false promises to the public and said that his party would now shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding the country.
