Ramp up PCR tests: SC

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court on Thursday issued an interim order to the government telling it to take steps to increase the polymerase chain reaction tests to identify and isolate coronavirus patients.

A single bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma issued the order in response to public interest litigation filed by Advocate Kamal Bahadur Khatri and others against the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and others, saying that increasing PCR tests were necessary to save lives.
