Kathmandu, April 4:

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chairman Pashupati Shumshere Rana today called upon Nepali Congress (NC) president Girija Prasad Koirala at his residence.

Rana, who has long been rooting for the release of the detained political leaders since February 1 before rapproachment efforts get underway, had gone to Koirala’s residence at Maharajgunj this evening. The meeting between the two leaders, which got underway at about 5 pm, lasted for about half-an-hour. “I have long been demanding the release of leaders. Their release is actually fulfilment of our demands,” Rana told reporters.

He also said that future agenda would be drawn up by holding meetings once the government releases all the leaders.
