Rautahat Madheshi leaders released from detention

RAUTAHAT: The local adminsitration on Tuesday released five leaders of United Democratic Madheshi Front, who were earlier arrested on charge of public offence, on general date here in Rautahat.

Ram Kishor Yadav and Rameshwar Yadav of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Anil Singh of Tarai-Madhesh Democratic Party's, Ajay Gupta of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Democratic, and Shekh Jamshaid of Sadbhawana Party were arrested from the residence of Rajendra Patel's house in Gaur on September 14, 2015.

The Chief District Officer of Rautahat, Madan Bhujel, today decided to release them from detention, according DSP Sudhir Raj Shahi, the spokespersons of District Police Office.

After their release, TMDP leader Singh said that the arrest was breach of human rights as they were charged with public offence while peacefully demanding rights.
