Relatives hope to bring boy to life

Pokhara, April 23:

Even as doctors at the Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara, declared Amrit Lamichhane, a 14-year-old boy from Kalu VDC-2 of the Kaski district, dead, relatives have not given up hope of seeing him alive. The boy was rushed to the hospital for treatment when lightning struck him at the VDC this afternoon. Doctors declared him dead, but the relations refused to give up hope of resurrecting him. The District Police Office, Kaski, said the boy has been taken back to the village for treatment. The relatives believe that, with herbal treatment, the boy will come back to life in a week.
