Rori Peak Trust, the London-based free journalists’ organisation, has provided Rs 85,100 cash for the family of journalist late Raj Kumar KC, according to Journalists Security Programme. Pradip Ghimire, general secretary of Freedom Forum handed over the cash to Sita KC, Raj Kumar’s widow, at a programme in Manthali, yesterday. Ram Chanda Biyogi, president of Ramechhap Nepal Bar Association, Jib Kumar Karki, coordinator of Human Rights Networking, Krishna Mahat of Nepali Congress, Tul Prasad Kandel of CPN-UML, former Member of Parliament Dev Shankar Poudel, among others addressed the programme.
