BANIYANI, JHAPA: Various organisations have distributed relief materials to flood victims in Jhapa.

According to the Jhapa-based Nepal Red Cross Society office, more than 800 flood victims have been provided with relief materials including beaten rice, bottled water, biscuits, noodles and tents.

Organisations including the District Chamber of Commerce, Nepal Jaycees and Electricity Entrepreneur Association among others distributed the loss items.

According to data, at least 11 persons were killed four went missing and 1,896 were displaced in the floods in Jhapa.
